Remembrance Sunday

On Remembrance Sunday the Lions of Berkhamsted join all the local service clubs, youth organisations and uniformed services to remember those who gave their lives in service to their country.

The Berkhamsted Lions mini bus was new in 2005 - parties and organisations are able to use the bus - it is also invaluable in the day to day running of our own activities

Senior Citizens Party

Twice a year we hold a party for the towns senior citizens - around one hundred people attend for am afternoon tea with entertainment

Meals on Wheels

Every Christmas Berkhamsted lions cook and deliver over one hundred Meals on Wheels for local people in Berkhamsted and Tring

Market Stall

Every month the Lions have a stall on Berkhamsted market selling brik-a-brak

Christmas Hamper Draw

The Christmas Hamper Draw offers five well stocked hampers to be raffled over the Christmas period

Horse Rides

Each year Windsor and Watford Lions run a long distance horse ride - Berkhamsted Lions go along to help out

August Bank Holiday Fete

Every year the town of Berkhamsted holds it's fete during the August Bank Holiday weekend. In the grounds of the Berkhamsted Sports & Social Club, over 2000 people attend raising over £5000 for Lions along with other attending charities.

Every year during the October half term a concert is held at the Berkhamsted Collegiate School  Centenary Hall - past events include:

Gateway Club: Christmas Party & Summer Barbeque

The Christmas party is held at All Saints Church Hall - the regular meeting place for the Gateway Club

A summer Barbeque is held at the Berkhamsted Sports & Social Club ground

St John Ambulance Presentation

Each year we donate to the funds of the Berkhamsted St John Ambulance - in turn they turn out for our Summer Fete and other activities
